Hi, I’m Prerna!

With over 40 years in early childhood education, I’ve worked with thousands of leaders and coaches and helped transform hundreds of programs around the world.

I’ve seen how stress wears down teachers and fuels challenging behaviors, but I’ve also seen what happens when leaders are equipped to coach their teachers. Classrooms calm down, confidence grows, and JOY returns.

I believe every educator is a brain architect, shaping neural pathways and building the foundation for lifelong success in children. My work is grounded in brain science, human psychology, and decades of hands-on experience. Through play, relationships, and movement, our job is not just teaching lessons… We’re literally building brains!!

My mission is to equip coaches, administrators, leaders, and anyone who supports teachers with brain-based strategies and practical tools they can take back to their programs so teachers feel supported, classrooms grow stronger, and schools become places where both children and adults thrive.

Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working with programs internationally, keynoting at many incredible conferences for amazing organizations, and impacting hundreds of thousands. My work has been recognized with honors such as the Susan Hargrave Trainer of the Year Award, but what matters most to me is seeing the light come back into teachers’ eyes when stress lifts and joy returns. Outside of Together We Grow, you’ll find me with my amazing husband, Alan, our children, and four wonderful grandchildren. We love to travel (Hawaii is one of our favorite places) and be in nature!

About Together We Grow

Welcome to the world of young children!

At Together We Grow, we believe the early years, birth through age eight, are the most important years of life. These years lay the foundation for everything that follows.

In fact, research shows that 90% of a child’s brain foundation is built by the age of five, and the adults guiding those years matter most..

That’s why we focus on equipping leaders to equip their teachers. When administrators and coaches have the tools to guide their staff, teachers feel supported, classrooms are calm, and children flourish.

Our goal is simple: to equip and empower those who coach teachers, creating ripple effects that help entire programs flourish.
